I ride a scooter. It's a little 50 cc that maxes out at 30 mph which is fast enough for me and perfect for getting around. I love riding it, its fun and gives me a freeing feeling. But when it's cold outside, it's REALLY cold on the scooter (about 12 degrees colder than the thermometer reading). I find there are 2 ways to approach a cold ride: 1. bundle up, have gratitude that I'm going to arrive faster than walking, breathe long and deep, relax and surrender into the cold or 2. bundle up, be pissed at the cold, hold my breath and shiver the entire ride. One way creates enjoyment and appreciation, the other creates resistance and tension.
