If you are feeling experimental in the kitchen, go for it! Play with flavor and try pairing different ingredients together. You don't have much to lose and you may create a brand new dish! If things don't taste right, keep adjusting flavors to see if you can make it work. If it's a total wash, dump it, but don't be discouraged. Not every attempt is a winner, but many will be something you want to recreate in the future.
