And how you continue your day matters too!

I like my structure and I'm pretty good about setting a routine and sticking to it. But I get off track some days and today was one of them. When I complete certain tasks first thing in the morning, my day flows so much better and I feel like I have more time in my day! Today I got behind, skipped steps and now I'm playing catch up. The good news is, I didn't forget anything the other news is I didn't complete everything I hoped to. 

My lessons from today:
  • Set yourself up for success.
  • Create a routine and stick to it.
  • Make things accessible so you are reminded to complete them and it's easy to do.
  • Stay focused on your task and tick them off your list as they are complete. 

What this looks like for me:
  • Finish my sadhana and put my running clothes on
  • Take Ollie out for a walk
  • Eat breakfast
  • Tidy up
  • Write goals
  • Go for a run
  • Write my blog, check email 
  • Some combination of shower, lunch, work - these are more flexible after the other items are complete.
